Terms of Use

This is a translation for your convenience. If the versions differ, the Czech version prevails.

1. Who runs Fitko

Fitko (the website at this address and the Fitko app for iPhone, Apple Watch and Mac) is run by Lukáš Ochrana, a self-employed individual, company ID (IČO) 76420515, not a VAT payer, registered in the Czech Trade Register, contact info@luksafoto.cz (the “operator”).

2. What Fitko is

Fitko is a tool for logging workouts, food, drinks and body weight, for planning workouts and for working with a coach. Fitko is not a medical device and does not replace a doctor, dietitian or coach. Estimates (e.g. caffeine in your body, readiness or 1RM) are indicative. If you have health problems, consult a professional before changing your diet or training load.

3. Account

You can create an account with an e-mail and password, with Apple or in the Fitko app. You must be at least 15 years old.
You are responsible for keeping your password safe. If you suspect misuse of your account, change your password and write to us.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings (Delete account). This deletes your data in Fitko Cloud.

4. Coach and athlete

When a coach invites you and you confirm sharing, they can see your workouts, daily summaries, plan and notes from the last 90 days and can assign you workouts and meal plans. You can stop sharing at any time. A coach is an independent person, not the operator – the operator is not responsible for their advice.

5. Price

Fitko is free for now. If we ever introduce paid features, you will be told in advance and you won’t pay anything without your explicit consent.

6. AI features

Some features (recipe suggestions, a weekly meal plan with a shopping list, the AI coach in the app) use the Claude model by Anthropic. They are off until you enter your own Anthropic API key or the operator turns on “AI via Fitko” for you.

Your own key stays only in your browser (in the app, in the device Keychain) and is sent only to api.anthropic.com. Fitko never sees it. You pay Anthropic directly for requests under their terms.
AI via Fitko has a daily limit and the operator may turn it off at any time.

AI output may be inaccurate (e.g. nutritional values) – treat it as a suggestion and always check ingredients if you have allergies.

7. Rules

Don’t use Fitko for anything illegal, don’t try to bypass security or overload the service, and don’t upload content that infringes the rights of others. If you break the rules, we may restrict or close your account.

8. Availability and liability

We try to run Fitko reliably but don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability or that it is error-free. The server may sleep when idle and the first load then takes a few seconds longer. You can download your data at any time (Settings → Download my data). To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for damage arising from the use of Fitko.

9. Changes

We may change these terms. We will tell you about significant changes in Fitko or by e-mail; if you don’t agree with them, you can delete your account.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. Consumers may also resolve disputes out of court through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (adr.coi.cz).
